Reviews
As a tourist, I really enjoyed this little store! It had everything you really needed and really fun stuff of Vancouver Canada. My family and I were there during Thanksgiving holiday so they had lots of holiday specials for Christmas. I was excited to get some really cool Canada shirts and souvenirs for my loved ones for decent price and really good quality. I found myself shopping here more for souvenirs than other locations in Vancouver. Definitely wasn’t disappointed.
We loved this souvenir shop! It was jam-packed with a great variety of very fairly-priced Canadian items. The staff were friendly and helpful and packaged our purchases carefully. It's easy to spot this red brick building as you walk along Water Street in Gastown. Well worth a visit.
If you're looking for unique gifts, Hudson House Trading Company is a great place to check out. They sell maple syrup, salmon jerky, and shirts, all at reasonable prices. The only downside is that the store is located in Gastown, so the line can get pretty long.
They have some great gifts, shirts, magnets but they are all trinkets made in china. Also the display windows needs some more love. There are some maple syrup in the display that looks like they are there since it was opened… so although I like the store I need to say that it needs more love.
Souvenir store in the heart of Gastown by the Steam Clock. You are greeted by the red Canadian Moose and Bear mascots at the door. The shop has heaps of variety, from food, clothing, jewelery, souvenirs and much more. Reasonably priced and huge collection
They have okay souvenirs, but customer service is terrible from my experience. Just fyi, this is just my side of story.
During checkout, the store had mismatching price tag ($9.99 CAD) and scanning price ($19.99) for maple leaf shape Tic-tac-toe, and the owner/cashier said we can't sell it at the price tag.
Okay, that was fair and reasonable! I simply told them that was okay and I don't want the product. Simple as that.
Until... they further commented unnecessary explanation "the tag price was too cheap, and I don't want to sell it". And even i told them that was okay, they still wasted the time until they verified their mistake with another owner/manager/worker. No, I did not buy the tic-tac-toe like I told them, and bought rest of souvenirs.
Five star store to buy souvenirs.
I’m preparing for my trip to my homeland Philippines and I’m so lucky to found and visit this place today. Store had lots of awesome and good price quality selection of souvenirs.
Definitely coming back to this place and highly recommend to everyone. 👍👍
Good location, a minute walking distance store from Waterfront station. 🙂
The lady in charge of the window which possibly is in charge of the store visual merchandising was so rude. I nicely asked to try a hat that was the last one left in store which I can clearly see that is reachable by hand and I even said I can grab it by myself to save them some work. She said no because it’s hard. Then I ask when they change the floor set so I can just come back and get the hat. She then said I won’t like it because it’s been there for a year and it already looks ugly and faded. I asked to leave my contact so they can contact me once they change the floor set to atleast they it on then she started to get mad and be rude to me. They are literally working with so many tourists and being rude is not the way to communicate. I don’t really leave reviews but wow I’m speechless for how rude she was. Didn’t even try to find a solution for me to try it even if I have to come back in a week.
